Relat- ives and neighbours of the groom were guests. Games were cond- ucted by Mrs. Elgin Rader and Darlene Rader. Susan was recip- ient of many lovely gifts for which she thanked everyone. The hostesses served lunch. A number from Dashwood attended the trousseau tea given by Mrs. 'Thomas Van Wyck in honour of her daughter, Susan, on Saturday, May 24. Rev. and Mrs. Bruce Guy were in Windsor last week where they attended the United church of Canada Conference at Windsor University. Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Restemay- er, Mr. and Mrs. Leeland Reste- mayer and Robert spent the weekend at Isaac Lake, fishing.' Ken McCrae has returned home from Westminster Hospital, London, Mrs. Louella Tiernan, Mr. and Mrs, Ron Merrier attended the graduation of Margaret Mern- - er from Wilfred Laurier Univer- sity, Waterloo, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Schatz were Sunday guests with Mr. and Mrs. Willard MacDougald, Fullart on. Mrs. Adeline Kraft is a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exeter. CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARY Some 50 members of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Becker's family were present for their 45th wedd- Golden Glimpses . 8 8 3 No doubt people were making the most of the above average temperatures during the past week which also brought the deluge of rain during Sunday afternoon and evening. By all reports, this downpour of rain covered little more than the area bordering the lake. We are still enjoying films on Monday evening, and are indebt- ed to Mr. Harold Erb for deliver- ing them from Goderich every week. The residents look forward to filen night. This past week was too hot and humid to be comfortable for bus rides. Our residents enjoyed the comp any of the numerous visitors who called over the holiday weekend.
