TOW AWAY STOLEN CAR - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police detachment at Grand
Bend were kept busy over the holiday weekend, although they report there was very little in the
way of serious trouble. Most of their time was taken up with minor offences. On Sunday morning
they found a stolen car on the beach parking lot, and it was ordered to be towed away by Dale's
Towing Service.
BUSY SPOT - One of the busiest spots in this area over the holiday weekend was the Bayview
Golf Course, just south of St. Joseph on highway 21. The cars were lined up at the popular spot
from Friday afternoon until Monday night, with hundreds of golfers waiting their turn to use the
facilities.

Watch for Blue Beech or hop
hornbeam at your garden center.
This hardy, small tree grows to
about 30 feet and can be used
as a shrubby lawn specimen or
a dense screen. It grows well in
dense shade and is particularly
suitable for large yards and park-
