Smiles
"Boy," said the 98 -pound
worker, "I feel like punching that
big foreman again." •
"Again?" said his pal unbe-
lievingly.
"Yeah," said the little guy. "I
felt like it yesterday, too."
Scotia, President of Federated
Women's Institute of Canada
also spoke. She said women
should think: first of her family,
second, her community, and.
third, herself.
On thelast afternoon the
speaker was Bob Carbert form-

Wingham, and appointed in
February, 1974 as General
Manager of Ontario Agricultural
Museum located near Milton,

Ontario government.
This museum hopes to pres-

early days of agriculture and
is very interested in hearing
from those who would contrib-
ute to this museum.
Old farm magazines are also
wanted. He hopes this museum
will be open to the public by

News of 'Varna
There was a good attendance
at the may meeting of the Var-
na UCW. Mrs. Aldie Mustard
opened the meeting with a
poem "Little Things." Our
Junior choir, under the leader-
ship of Mrs. Doug McAsh,
presented the worship service on
the theme "Family Life." They
sang three numbers.
Highlight of the meeting was
an interesting commentary of
Mrs. W.T. McAsh on their
holiday in Cuba. She accomp-
anied her talk with pictures
showing the people, buildings,
farms, etc., and their beaut-
iful clean beaches.
' The treasurer, Mrs. Robert
Webster, repotted that the
dessert euchre, held on April
23, was very successful. An
invitation was received from the
Clinton Hospital Auxiliary to
attend Florence Nightingale
Day on May 14 from 2 to 4 in
the hospital. Mrs. Gordon Hill
reported that the Committee
for the 50th anniversary of the
United Church, in co- operation
'with the elders, has a number of
projects planned. The main
feature of the celebrations will
be an old-fashioned gospel serv-
ice, to be held on the afternoon
