News of Huronview
Seven new residents were
welcomed to the Home at the
Old Tyre Music and Sing Song
program last week. Mrs. Allan
and Mr. and Mrs. McCreath of
Goderich; Mrs. Watson and Mr.
Racho of Eginondville; Mrs.
Cox of Wingham and Bill Gov-
ier of Londesboro. Marie Flynn,
Norman Speir, Jerry Collins
and Phillip Regier provided the
music and the Clinton Christ-
ian Reformed volunteers assist-
ed with the afternoon activities.
The Huronia Mixed Chorus
of thirty members from Exeter
and surrounding area provided
an Easter Cantata "Haydns
Chorus" on Sunday evening.
The program had been present-
ed on Easter week -end in Exeter
and arrangements for the pres-
entation at the Home was arr-
anged by the Christian Wom-
en's Club. Mrs. McCaffrey is
director of the chorus withpiano
accompaniment by Mrs. Wild-
fong and Mrs. Moffatt. Mary
Van Camp thanked the group on
behalf of the residents.
The "Family Night" program
was arranged by Mrs. Marjorie
Huether and included talent
from Wingham, Bluevale,
Walton, Brussels and Clinton.
The vocal numbers were by
Karen Johnston, Julie McCall
and John Huether who were
accompanied at the piano by
their music teacher, Mrs. Glen
Johnston. There were piano
instrumental by Sheila Burke
and Ian Mann; accordian selec-
tions by Stephen Burke; dance
numbers by Laurie Goodall and
Karen Johnston. Watson Webster
played some old tyme favour-
ites on the mouth organ accom-
panied at the piano by his
daughter Marjorie. Mrs. Hack -
well, who is from the Walton
Area, thanked the entertainers
