Obituary
MRS. EMMA KIPPER
A resident of this area for
many years, Mrs. Emma Kipfer
passed away at the Blue Water
Rest Home, Zurich, on Mon-
day, April 14, in her 85th year.
She was born in Hay Township
on May 23, 1890, a daughter
;,of the late Mr. and Mrs. John
Gascho. Her husband, Jacob,
pre -deceased her some years
ago.
Surviving are one son, Elgin,
of Dashwood, one daughter,
Mrs. Lewis (Mildred) Boshart,
of Seaforth; one sister, Mrs.
Ida Jantzi, of Baden . There are
also 10 grandchildren and nine
great grandchildren.
Thebody is resting at the
Westlake Funeral Horne, Zurich,
where the service will take
place on Thursday, April 17,
at 2 p.m. Interment will take
place in the Zurich Mennonite
Cemetery. Rev. Clayton Kuep-
fer will officiate.

Mrs. Daisy Ivey who has been
a patient in St. Joseph's Hosp-
ital in London since January
with a broken hip, returned •
Friday to the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Gordon Schwalm.

for two days of last week at the
home of her daughter Mr. and
Mrs. Eldon Johnston of Bruce -

ton, Mr. and Mrs. Art Hallam
of Vanastra, Mrs. Dorothy
Breakey, of Zurich, visited with
the Schwalins, Mrs. Ivey and,
Mrs. Volland.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Coombs
and Gail of Clinton visited with
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Schwalm.
Mr. and Mrs. Desmond Ivey
of Sarnia visited Friday with
their mother, Mrs. Daisy Ivey.
Mr. and Mrs. Ron Gelderland
and'family of Ridgetown visited
with Mr. and Mrs. Sun Roobal
on Sunday.
