PIon special music nights.
The first Music Nights for
Huron County Board of Educatioi
schools were held in 1974. Re-
hearsals have begun for this year
concerts which will be held in
three locations in the county.
Performing groups will range
from small ensembles, through
classroom and school choirs,
to a massed choir of all partic-
ipants. Ukulele, recorder and
school bands will perform.
Students from the kindergarten
age to senior secondary school
will be represented.
The first 1975 Music Night
will be held on Tuesday, April
29 at F.E. Madill Secondary
School, Participating schools
will be Blyth Public School,
Brussels Public School, East
Wawanosh Public School, Grey
Central Public School, Howick
Central Public School, North
Ashfield Public School, Turn-
berry Central Public School
and Wingham Public School,
and F.E. Madill Secondary
School and Goderich District
Collegiate Institute.
On Wednesday, May 7, at
Goderich District Collegiate
Institute, the second concert
will be presented. Brookside
Public School, Clinton Public
School, Colborne Central Pub-
lic School, Holmesville Public
School, Hullett Central Public

that evening.
The third concert will be held
at. South Huron District High
School on Wednesday, May 14
with Exeter Public School,
Hensall, J.A,D. McCurdy,
Seaforth, Stephen Central Public
Usborne Central Public and
Zurich Public Schools perform-
ing.
The Ministry of Education
is seeking 24 young people to
take part in a three-week visit
to France beginning on June 21.
The Ministry's Educational
Exchange and Special Projects
Branch will pay the group's air
fare from Montreal to Paris.
While in France they will be
the guests of the French govern-
ment and will be billeted in
private homes and youth hostels,
Visiting across the country,
they will observe first-hand the
cultural, economic, and polit-
ical aspects of France .
Applicants must be between
18 and 25 years of age and
have a good command of spoken
French. They also must have
been active in community af-
fairs. The applicants will be
selected from across Ontario
and will represent the academic,
business, technical, and agric-
ultural interests.

The forms must be completed
and returned by May 2.
