Hensall WI hear
The "Health in the Com-
munity" meeting of the Hensall
Women's Institute was held
Wednesday evening in the
Legion Hall. President Hilda
Payne welcomed everyone and
the meeting opened with the
Ode and the Collect. The roll
call was answered by 23
members with an old fashioned
health remedy,
Program convenors were Jan -
is Bisback and Marg Ingram.Richardson,
Janis introduced Mrs. Len
Cameron., aHome Economics
teacher at South Huron High
School, She showed a short film
strip on nutrition and health
and also gave a very interesting
talk about Canada's food guide
and about nutrients in our foods
and additives that are added to
our foods to make them look
g ood,
Dorothy Mickle favoured
everyone by playing several
Irish selections on the fano,
Nellie Riley gave the duties of
the branch director. The rizinutc
and the January meeting and
the February euchre were read
and approved. A financial
report was given by the treasur-
er, Marg Ingrain.

FWIO president; also a thank-

Members were asked to bring
suggestions for a women's proj-
ect in June to the next meeting.
Mrs. Payne thanked everyone
who helped with the euchre
party in February. It was decid-
ed that every member should
try to have a card party within
their homes before the end of
June to try to make extra funds
for the Institute for the corning
year. Plans were tentatively
made for a bus trip to Elmira
for June. •
A new nominating commit-
tee was appointed to bring in
a new slate of officers for the
April meeting. The April
meeting schedule was reviewed
and the committees were rem -
laded to bringin their reports

to this meeting,
Rose Harris gave the courtesy
remarks, Marg Ingrain present -
ed Mrs. Cameron and Dorothy
Mickle with a little gift.

afternoon. Her devotional int-
roduction was followed by the
singing of a hymn,

Billy Graham, It is interesting
to note that the Christian move-
meet is once more spreading
