The insurance, which begins February 26 for a one-year per- iod, covers vehicle, property, liability, and workmen's comp- ensation. Cost of the insurance from Leeson -Killer Ltd., of Stratford is $16,591.68. Jack Lane, board business administrator, told trustees the bulk of the increase was in prem Tums for workmen's compensat- ion and property insurance. Mr. Lane noted the 68 -per cent premium increase for prop- erty insurance is due mostly to higher costs of school construct- ion. In other business, the board approved a request from the Catholic Parent Teachers' Association to install six pieces of playground equipment at Our Lady of Mount Cannel School at Mt. Carmel at no cost tothe board. Installation of a high bar, balance beam, log ladder tire swing and other equipment will be handled entirely by the association at the south Huron County school.
