A WINNING MOVE
Crop production may seem
like a gamble sometimes, but
this farmer has an ace on his
side -- one of the annual publi-
cations of 'the Ontario Ministry
of Agriculture and Food.
For up-to-date crop` recom-
mendations, results of variety
trials, fertility programs, and
pesticide recommendations, the
publications and the agricultural
representatives at the Ministry's
county and district offices can
be very helpful.
There is reliable information
to be had on other crops, too,
including tobacco, fruit and
vegetables, greenhouse crops
and horticulture. Use one of the
Ministry's annual publications
for all it's worth and hold a
winning hand.
