Henson United Church Women Unit 1
On January 9, Unit I of the
Hensall United Church Women
met in the church. Anita Cook
presided and read a meditation
"It's a busy world." Hymn 571
was sung with Belva Fuss at
the piano. Anita read a poem
"No time for God. " Her script-
ure was taken from Luke 14,
the parable of the great feast.
This was followed by her devot-
ional message, the theme
"Priorities for the New Year."
Following prayer, the group
repeated the Lord's Prayer
in unison. Offering was taken
and dedicated by Anita and a
hymn was sung. The minutes
of the last meeting and the
correspondance was read.
Twelve members answered the
roll call and paid membership
fees. Doreen Spencer reviewed
the highlights of last year's
study book and then introduced
the new study book, "Mission
begins with you"-- a mission
beginning with you, spreads

Church. UCW General meet-
ings to be held first Monday at
8:15 in May, October and Dec-
ember.
The meeting closed with the
benediction followed by a
tasty lunch served by hostesses
