Hensall seniors hold party
The Hensall senior citizens met
Tuesday evening December 14
for their Christmas party with 48
in attendance. The club rooms
were gaily decorated in keeping
with the Christmas season.
President Percy Campb ell
presided for a short session of
business and warmly welcomed
all who were present. It was
decided to discontinue having
Open House Tuesday and Friday
afternoons until after the New
Year.
A committee of three, Pearl
Taylor, Rosa Harris and Percy
Campbell were appointed to
investigate the purchasing of a
Carpet Ball Set and other items
for entertainment and crafts.
Mrs. M ickle and Mrs.
Alexander volunteered to act on
the Open House committee in
place of Mrs. Bell who finds it
difficult to get out in the winter
months.
There will'be a meeting of the
executive early in the New Year.
