But Zurich wasn't giving up, it was in the second period at 3:46 in the game when Brian Horner whistled the rubber disc past the Bayfield goalie assisted by captain Mark Kirk. Zurich kept skating in the second period when at 6:19 in the game captain Mark Kirk drilled one in the top corner, assisted d'by Paul John- ston and Danny Becker. In the third period at 5:00 in the game Jeff Merner put the puck by the Zurich goalie assisted by Rickie Johnston. Bayfield was still skating while at 8:00 in the game Jeff Merner shot another by the Zurich goalie assisted by Rickie Johnston. But Zurich was still flying when at 4:00 remain- ing in the game Paul Johnston tucked one behind the Bayfield goalie, unassisted. The bell rang leaving the score 5-3 for Zurich. Both Kevin Oke and Greg O'Brien played tremen- dously in the nets for Zurich. Let every heart rejoice in the spiritual blessings and inspiration of the season.
