But Zurich wasn't giving up,
it was in the second period
at 3:46 in the game when
Brian Horner whistled the
rubber disc past the Bayfield
goalie assisted by captain
Mark Kirk. Zurich kept skating
in the second period when at
6:19 in the game captain Mark
Kirk drilled one in the top
corner, assisted d'by Paul John-
ston and Danny Becker.
In the third period at 5:00
in the game Jeff Merner put
the puck by the Zurich goalie
assisted by Rickie Johnston.
Bayfield was still skating
while at 8:00 in the game Jeff
Merner shot another by the
Zurich goalie assisted by Rickie
Johnston. But Zurich was still
flying when at 4:00 remain-
ing in the game Paul Johnston
tucked one behind the Bayfield
goalie, unassisted. The bell
rang leaving the score 5-3
for Zurich. Both Kevin Oke and
Greg O'Brien played tremen-
dously in the nets for Zurich.
Let every heart rejoice in the spiritual
blessings and inspiration
of the season. And may great joy
be yours at this most happy, holy time.
Special thanks to each person who volunteered help
throughout the year.
