cember 13, 1976, Harvey C.
Johnston of Clinton, in his
73rd year. Dear husband ol
Leila Johnston. Dear father ol
Mrs. Grant (Helen) MacLean,
Hensall; Mrs. Jim (Leona)
Armstrong, Brussels; Mrs.
Berne (Doris) McKinley, Zur-
ich; Mrs. Dwight (Joan) Camp-
bell, Truro, N.S. Also survived
by 10 grandchildren and two
brothers, Bert of Belgrave and
Jim of Welland. The funeral
was held on Wednesday,
December 15 at 3 p.m. from the
Ontario Street United Church,
Clinton. Interment in Brussels
Cemetery. Mr. Johnston was a
past reeve of Morris Township,
Warden of Huron County and
Administrator at Huronview for
15 years.

Hawks idle, but Iead league
The Exeter Hawks were idle
this week in Ontario Hockey
Association Junior D play but
continue to holddown first place.
The Hawks have 13 victories,
five losses and a pair of ties good
for 28 points. The Mitchell Hawks
are in the runner-up spot with 26
points but have one game in
hand.
The seventh place Port Stanley
club gave Exeter a helping hand
Sunday night by edging Mitchell
4-3.
The Exeter Hawks were in
Thgmesford last night, Wed-
nesday and will then take a
ctrit
holiday until Sunday, January 2
when they will take on the Port
Stanley Lions at the Zurich
arena at 8 p.m,
The local Hawks lead the
league in goals with 125 and have
the second best goals against
record with 69. Mitchell goalies
have allowed only 63 goals
