Christmas is to remember when
Jesus was born,
When he was wrapped in cloth-
es all torn,
And also when he didn't cry,
When angels sang above so
high.
But now Christmas is to give
And also to receive
And to go and visit and say,
"Merry Christmas, Uncle.
Steve!"

Christmas Eve
Yum, yum, everything tastes
delicious!
I hope I don't get stuck with all
the dishes.
Mom and Dad, will have some
tea.
Me! I'll trim the Christmas
tree.
Red balls, green balls, even a
little holly.
I wonder if I'll receive a watch
from dear Aunt Molly.

Christmas Is
Christmas is joy, fun and
laughter.
It is not only receiving presents,
but also giving them.
Christmas is hanging beauti-
ful ornaments on a big tree.
It is getting together with all
your friends and relatives and
having a wonderful time.
It is also decorating your home
in beautiful Christmas colours.
Christmas is the turkey and
dressing on the table.
It is waiting for the arrival of
our dear friend Santa Claus.

The Real Meaning of Christmas
Christmas's real meaning is
about Jesus. He is the son of
Mary and Joseph. The wise -
men followed a special star to
the stable where he lay. The
wisemen brought him very nice
gifts. But best of all, Jesus is
our Savior.

My Most Cherished Christmas
Morn walked into the decora-
tive room with a conspicuous
bundle under her coat. With
nine pairs of eyes focused on
her, she reached in and pulled
out a curly, black bundle of fur.
Everyone gasped with delight
when they realized that the tiny
fluff -ball was a miniature
French poodle. Mom explained
to us that this cuddly, little
fellow was her Christmas pres-
ent from Dad. With much care
a bed was prepared. The next
day was an exciting one but I
think that the night before was
the moment that I shall remem-
ber and cherish all my life.

Christmas Season
Christmas Eve and Christmas
Day are a very busy time in
our family. Our family goes to
church on Christmas Eve for
the short plays that the children
put on about the birth and the
life of Christ. After this we go
to our grandparents home for a
half an hour or more to talk
about plans for the next day.
Later, at home I turn the
lights on, on the Christmas
tree. My sisters and I go to
bed while our parents finish
wrapping gifts for the next day.
In the morning I wake up my
sisters and we tiptoe down-
stairs to see what we have
received. Later our parents get
up and we give them their
gifts. After having breakfast,
we dress and then go to the
Christmas services at the
church. When we come home,
we have a quick lunch and then
a couple of hours later we go
to our grandparents home for
supper and a family gathering.
When all of the dishes are
washed and dried it is time to
give and receive gifts. After
thanking the people for what
they have given us, my cousin
plays the piano and we all
sing Christmas carols. Late at
night we return home very
happy and tired.
