Atoms lose to Milverton
December 7, the Zurich
Atoms travelled to Milverton
to play a close game they were
to lose by a score of three to
two.
The first period of the game
was a close fought battle with
neither team managing to make
things click and score.

seemed to 'have things going
well as they opened the scoring
with a goal by Dean Armstrong

followed this goal up with
another one several minutes
later. This time Dean was
assisted by Derek McKinnon.

In the third period, nothing
seemed to go right for Zurich as
they failed to find the net.
Milverton however had no such
problem scoring two goals to
take the lead and win the game
by a score of 3 to 2.
The Atoms played again
Wednesday, December 8, this
time in the Zurich arena against
Brussels. However, the home
ice advantage did not seem to
help the Atoms as they were
defeated by a score of 7 to 1.
Brussels scored twice in the
first period and once in the
second to take a 3 to 0 lead
