We hope that those who did come and brought articles for the bazaar will be able to return again this Saturday, November 20, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. This time you will not be disappointed. It looks like that long awaited Indian Summer might just be here. On Monday evening the Residents enjoyed sound mov- ies, followed by refreshments. We regret that Mrs. Willa Brock and Mr. William Pres- zcator are patients in .the South Huron Hospital, Exeter. The regular monthly birth- day party was held on Wednes- day evening with the Crediton Women's Institute as spon- sors. Mrs. Alma Davey chaired the programme, which was very much enjoyed. Mr. Harvey Smith played the guitar accom- panied by his daughter, Penny, on the piano. A reading on Remembrance Day was given. Obituaries MRS. LEAH BAECHLER Leah Baechler, wife of the late Solomon Baechler passed away at South Huron Hospital Nov- ember 8, 1976, in her 83rd year. She leaves to mourn her pass- ing, one son William of Exeter and five daughters (Eva) Mrs. Clarence Gascho, Zurich; (Ger- trude) Mrs. Oliver Steckle, Bayfield; Verda, Zurich; (Glad- ys) Mrs. Neil Gingerich, Zurich and (Irma) Mrs. Floyd Buehler, St. Jacobs. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body is resting at the Westlake funer- al Home, Zurich until Thurs- day noon. The funeral will be held at the Blake Mennonite Church Thursday, November 11, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Clayton Keupfer officiating. NANCY RILEY In South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Tuesday, November 9, 1976, Nancy Riley in her 100th year. She was born in Hullett township January 15, 1877. She married John Riley, March 16, 1909 and lived in Tuckersmith township. He pre- deceased her June 17, 1956. Surviviing is one son, Nelson of Zurich, four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the Westlake Funeral Home, Zurich on Friday, November 12, at 2 p.m. with Rev. C. Kuepfer officiating: Burial made in the Hensall Union, Cemetery. The Sunday evening chapel service was conducted by Rev. Brian Harrison of the Bayfield Baptist Church. Mrs. Harrison, the soloist, sang during the service and was accompanied by the organist, Miss Shirley Keys.
