tanker trucks for two of their
area fire departments. Deputy -

request from the Huron Park

Bali diamond to get lights
The Recreation Committee met
at the Township Hall on Thurs-
day evening. The canvass of
the township for funds for ball
diamond lights was quite success-
ful, with 54,000.00 having been
collected. If you were missed
in the canvass and would like to
donate, please leave your dona-
tion with any committee member
or at the Township Office.
Thank you to all who so gener-
ously contributed, and the lights
will be installed as soon as
possible.
The ball program is still in
full swing, and the co-ordinator
Ross Whittaker and coaches are
to be commended for the great
job they are doing. They would
appreciate it it' the players
would make an extra effort to
attend games and practices, as
sometimes they have been short
of players. The coaches and
helpers are all bush people,
and if they can find time to spend;
helping our kids, surely we can
see that they get to the games. -
