IRVIN RAI)ER Friedsburg Days have come and gone once more with relatives and friends gathering from far and near. The talent show was great, the princesses beautiful, the parade one of the best and appetites were big. The committee in charge were rewarded for all their time and effort, Miss Brenda Miller, Granton, spent the weekend with her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Irvin Rader. Mr. & Mrs. Neil Kich, Hamilton; and Mr. & Mrs. Earl Stumpf, Kitchener, spent the weekend with Mr. & Mrs. Albert Miller, They all attended the Constein-Kursinsky wedding at Palms, Michigan, Saturday, July 31. Others attending were Mr. & Mrs. Reinhold Miller and Mrs. Lavina Miller of Zurich. Mrs. Wilbur Stewart, London, spent a few days with Mr, & Mrs. Jack Gaiser and girls. Mr. & Mrs. Art Haugh, London, spent the weekend with Mrs. Cora (raiser. Mr. & Mrs. Wm Chandler have returned home following 0 two week trip to Victoria, B.C., returning by way of United States. Allan Gaiser was a camper at Camp Menesetung, Goderich, last week while Faye Gaiser was at Silver Lake camp with her cousin Debbie Seebach the previous week. These are both United Church camps. Mr. & Mrs. Emil Becker en- joyed a vacation spent in British Columbia. Later, accompanied by Mr. & Mrs. Clarence Kimpel, Kitchener, tliey spent several days in Buffalo, New York. Mr. & Mrs. Elmer Rader and Mr. & Mrs. Phip Rader were THEME FLOAT WINNER — The Three Little Pigs entered by Jim Becker Construction won the theme float category in Saturday's Friedsburg Days parade in Dashwood. Harold Snell of Exeter at 10:00 a.m. Parker reunion Over 50 descendants of the Parker families attended the annual Parker reunion held at Riverview Park on Saturday. Guests attended from Port Credit, Brampton, Whitby, Starford, London, Mitchell, Exeter and Hensall. Mr. & Mrs. Fred Brown and Mr. & Mrs. Bill Parker of London were in charge of the races for the children and games for the adults, followed by a ball game. Following a delicious picnic supper the officers were elected for next year: president, Doug Wein, Whitby; vice-president, Kenneth Parker, Hensall; secretary, Mrs. Don Dalton, Seaforth; sports committee, Mr. & Mrs, Clarence Ruston, Stratford and Mr. & Mrs. George Parker, Hensall, The reunion next year will be held at the community park, Hensall.
