"Dryers should always be kept free from lint," a spokesman for the department said, "hut this is particularly important when splay -n11 softeners are used." Softeners have a tendency to increase the accumulation of lint, espeel ally when used too literally. Lint traps should be cleaned after every load and the motor inspected and cleaned at least once a year. Careful and regular cleaning Nvill prevent the build-up of lint which could lead to a dryer fire. "There is no evidence at the present time to show that the sprays present a fire hazard as long as the instructions On the label are followed carefully and excessive amounts are not used at any one time." t itiic nti Ni'‘+' Jul 1,1 6-t'.i ;, ' 2 eea►e♦ee` `ee%%%e\%% .% 'ti'-'ee'• ee*4.1%.'0', LOIN PORK CHOPS .B51.55 FRESH SCHNEIDER'S *Chicken Legs . T -A Photo Parasailers grounded Parasailing; being towed by a 300 foot line behind a boat while attached to a parachute for a bird's eye view of Grand Bend, was grounded temporarily by council Monday night after they received complaints from Harold Skinner and Dave Reid, both property owners and beach users in Grand Bend. Skinner claimed that the parasailerswere harrassing beach goers when they were taking off and landing on the beach, a violation of their agreement with the municipality. Reid cited several instances when the parachute landed on the Keach, once knocking over a baby buggy throwing the infant onto the beach and knocking down an umbrella onto an elderly couple. Originally, Caribe Enter- prises , which runs the parasa iling operation, had agreed to launch and land sailers on a raft moored 500 feet off shore and that their boat would not come within 500 feet of the shore. Council decided to temporarily suspend the operation until Caribe begins to use their raft and stay away from the beaches.
