year. He was predeceased by his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
G. Edighoffer. Funeral service
was held at the Westlake Funeral
Home, Zurich on Friday, with
Rev. Bruce Guy officiating.
Burial was made in the Emman-
uel United Church Cemetery.

Cadets survive !
All members of the Huron -
Middlesex Cadet Corps 2923
survived a three day survival
test held in 'Hay Swamp over
the weekend.
Under the direction of Cadet
Captain Donald Lee and Cadet
Lt. Bill Lewis the cadets enjoyed
a variety of activities.
They participated in a six mile
compass march, 22 calibre rifle
target shooting, swimming and
field crafts. They also construct-
ed lean-tos with branches, string
and pine bows.
The current year for the cadets
will come to an end on Thursday,
June 3 when the annual inspec-
tion will be held at the Huron
Park parade square at 7 p.m.
Huron -Middlesex MPP Jack
Riddell will be the reviewing
officer.
