Best wishes to Mrs. Lois

last week.
Many thanks to Mrs. Mildred
Merrill who has kindly consented
to look after the flower bed in
the triangle at Clan Gregor
Square for the summer. Already
she has dug up the tulip bulbs
and fertilized ready for the plant-
ing of boxed plants. Volunteers
are still desparately needed to
look after the bed at the Cairn
and the perennial bed in front of
the swings. If you will help
with these beds please call Lois

developer's agreement drawn up
by Stanley clerk Mel Graham
which would allow the developers
to get a building permit.
Mr. Lehnen did say his firm
has agreed to improve the
single lane dirt road leading into
the campsite although under the
Ontario Municipal Act that is
the job of the township.
Reeve McKinley agreed the
road is the responsibility of the
township which is precisely why
they are asking for a $10,000
bond from the developers to
ensure the road is improved as
part of the development agree-
ment.
Gary Davidson, Huron County
planning director says he has
asked the Ontario Ministry of
Consumer and Commercial .Re-
lations to clarify the co-operative
ownership approach being used
by the Jellystone Park devel-
opers.
He says the county doesn't
want 400 individual owners of
campsites coming to them with
requests to subdivide the proper-
ty for residential -type develop-
ment.
The 81 acre project includes
three-quarters of a mile of Bay-
field River shoreline and will
include a grocery store, child
care area, teen and adult lounges,
tennis courts, ski lifts and 400
campsites.
Mr. Lehnen says about 100
campsites will be ready by June
15 with the completion date for
the entire development set for
next summer.
Also included will be play-
grounds, a 5,200 sq. ft. main
lodge, swimming pool, wading
pool, miniature golf course, gar-
den plots and hiking trails.
The price of a campsite is set
at $3.500.

Because your writer took off
for the weekend to Port Huron,
Michigan, with her family the
column is very short. Although
the weather is really cold we all
enjoyed just being away, and
camping at Crazy Horse Camp-
grounds.
