of United Church Women Tues-
day evening. opening with the

Mrs. Gerald Kading and Mrs.
Art Webb were in ehargo of
wog:ship and program. Mrs.
Kading read Psalm 90, and the
17tH verse that vas the theme
of the sleeting, "Let the beauty
of the Lord our God be upon us."
Mrs. Webb spoke on the "The
Beauty Box" and said to be
beautiful we 11105t scatter seeds
of kindness.

Sailing course
starts in June
Sailing enthusiasts will be
able to enjoy the sport and
increase their skills at the sante
time this summer 111 Grand Bend.
Sailing lessons will be available
from June 7 to September 3.
The lessons are sponsored by
Fansh awe College in London,
with Rick McTeer in charge.
"Sailors wanting basic ex-
perience arc welcome, but even
the rriore experienced sailor
should learn something from the
course," says Mr. McTeer.
"Students will receive individual
attention and learn proper dock-
ing as well as sailing tech-
niques."
Each course lasts for one week.

met Monday in the Alhambra
hall, with president, Mrs. Toni
Vlemmix, presiding and 24 in
attendance. During the business

outside the church, groups of

Playhouse guild
makes find plan
The Playhouse Guild executive
held a luncheon meeting at
11 a.m. Tuesday, at the Green
Forest, when final plans were
made for the annual season
ticket holder dance, at the
Playhouse, on June 12, with
Johnny Downs orchestra. Plans
were also made for planting
flowers on the Playhouse grounds
on June 1:
