the contract called for completion
75 days from April 1 and she was
confident the job would be done
within the contract period.
"There's no reason that it
won't he done in July," said
Mrs. Oke, "Rumours of paving
being done in October are just
nonsense."
Councillor Ray McKinnon said
he felt the contractor was trying
to get the job done as quickly- as
possible.
"They're slaking pretty good
headway in view of the problem,.
they encountered with the sel\
ers." Mr. McKinnon stated.
Varna
We are very sorry to hear that
Rev. Alex Taylor took ill while at
Pine Lake Chap on Saturday and
is in Clinton hospital. Rev.
John Campbell of London, a min-
ister of the Latter Day Saint;
Church and a friend of M•. Taylor
took the church services at Varna
and Goshen on Sunday. We hope
Rev. Taylor is soon well again.
