Women
see film
The Lutheran Church Women's
meeting was held Tuesday.
May 11, with 21 members, two
visitors and Rev. Blackwell in
attendance.
The convention theme Hymn
"Whatsoever You Do" was sung
throughout the meeting. A film
entitled "To Escape, To Return"
was presented by Rev. Blackwell.
This film indicated the work done
by the refugees in Bangladesh
and areas in Africa.
The ladies accepted an invita-
tion from the Carmel Presbyter-
ian Church to attend their meet-
ing on Monday evening June 7th.
The L.C.W. members will be
serving coffee at a luncheon fol-
lowing the morning service on
June 13 for the reception of newly
confirmed members.
At the conclusion of the busi-
ness meeting Mrs. Gertrude
Fleischauer, Mrs. Fred Haberer
and Miss Inez Yungblut served
a dainty lunch.
