News Photo Year end bowling tourney big success A very successful "End Of The Season Men's Bowling Tournament" was held Sunday at the Zurich Bowling Lanes with bowlers from all over western Ontario taking part. Top bowler of the day was Heinz Sartori of Goderich with a total pinfall of 2511 to take the $70 cash prize. In second spot, winning $45, was Mark Stumpf of Stratford with. 2423 while Norma McKay of Mitchell, third with 2419, won $25. Fourth spot went to Bill Strong of Clinton with a 2402 for $20 in prize money while Gene Ohler of Stratford was fifth with 2398 for $15. Winners of $10 each were Gene Love of Mitchell, 2392; Don Wright of Stratford, 2389; Norm Wilding of Mitchell, 2257; Art Finlayson of Clinton, 2242. Operator of Zurich Bowling Lanes Tony Bedard said the tournament was a success in every way and it was anticipat- ed another would be held again next year. Mr. Bedard said Zurich and area merchants were extremely generous with prizes for the tournament.
