year. I'm very happy to be back
to work with the executive and
players to round out a champion-
ship team."

ociation vice-president Ron
Bogart asked everyone to work
a little harder under "trying
circumstances".
Bogart continued, "without
a home arena for at least one
year it will be necessary for
everybody to pitch in. It will
mean many stresses and strains,
but let's make it a bigger and
better year for the Hawks."
The . EMHA vice-president
said he was confident the Hawks
would be back in Exeter in a new
arena by the fall of 1977.
Bogart also asked any players
planning to try out with. clubs of
higher standing to ask for per -

Preszcator. •
Fred Mommersteeg Jr., son
of the Hawks manager was the
other double award winner.
He was named the most improved
player and the rookie of the year.
In presenting the rookie trophy,
long-time Exeter hockey 'suppor-
ter and town Reeve DerryBoyle
said, "1 feel this is one of the
most important awards we have
to make each year."
A former Hawks. manager
Bob Baynham was in attendance
to present his trophy to the best
defenceman'Phil. Knight.
John Van Gerwen received
the most gentlemanly player
award and Ken Pinder was
named the most valuable per-
former in the playoffs.
Special mention was made
to McKnight's Men's Wear
for providing three star selections
made during the season.
