Hot dinners .were numerous
this year and , as delicious as
ever. The Institute served the
Road Superintendents; cubs
and their fathers

on the occasion of their 100th
anniversary.
The Institute also served lunch
at the open house of the New
Municipal Building in October
and a noon luncheon at the annual
meeting of the Bean Growers.
Marketing Board in December.
It was not all work, as the ladies
held euchre parties and quilting
bees with pot luck dinners.

and talents, the Women's insti-

The health of the community
was not neglected by the Institute

Red Cross and gave their time at
the blood donor's clinic in the
summer. They also had a public
health nurse speak' on the ser-

in these areas. Some members
