Crediton cyclist injured
Damage high in Hensall crash
Damage amounted to over
$7,600 in four accidents investi-
gated by the Exeter OPP this
week, and four people were
injured.
A young Crediton area bicy-
clist sustained cuts and head
injuries when his bike ran into
the rear of a parked car on con-
cession 6-7 of Stephen Township,'
just south of the Crediton Road.
Alexander Handerer was
taken to University Hospital
for treatment after his bike
collided with a vehicle owned
by Arnold Mallett,Crediton.
The car was unoccupied at the
time.
OPP Constable Larry Chris-
tiaen investigated and set darn -
age to the car at $150 and $10
to the bicycle.
Damage of $3,600 was reported
when a car driven by Ronald
Bissionnette, Mitchell, hit a
parked car in Hensall on Thurs-
day night. The parked car was
owned by Edward Rowcliffe,

RR 2 Hensall. It in turn was
shoved into the rear of another
parked car owned by John
Merrifield, Hensall.
The Bissonnette vehicle,
which had been eastbound on
the main street in Hensall,
crashed into the front of Al's
Super Save before coming to
a halt. The driver sustained
minor injuries.
The accident was investigated

tion invites the members of the
Three Links Senior Citizens to
an evening of entertainment at
the 1.0.O.F. Hall on Thursday

Livestock Sales in Hensall
took place both Thursday and

prices were steady and demand

Friday at 2:45 a.m. a car driven
byRonald Harris, RR 5 Goderich,
went out of control on Highway
4 a mile north of Exeter and rolled
into the west ditch. The driver
sustained a fracture and other
injuries and was taken to God-
erich hospital.
Damage to his vehicle was
listed at $2,500 by Constable
Al Quinn.
The other accident occurred
on Saturday at 1:30 a.m. on the
Gill Road, just south of Highway
81 in Stephen Township.
A vehicle operated by Douglas
Jones, London, went out of
control and hit a hedge owned
by Daniel Waldron and then
struck a tree.
The driver sustained cuts and
bruises and Constable Quinn
listed damage at $1,500.
