THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF HAY
BY-LAW #18 FOR 1977
A By-law to authorize the stopping up and closing of certain streets according to -
• Plan No. 12 for the Township of Hay and to convey the fee therein to the Estate of
Valerie Cantin.
Whereas pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Act Chapter 284, Section
338, 443, Item (7), 461, Items (1) and (2), R.S.O. 1970, the Council of a local
municipality may pass By-laws to sell or convey land and for the stopping up and
closing of streets or portions of streets in a Municipality and conveying the fee
therein to the abutting land owners.
And whereas the Corporation of the Township of Hay has agreed to stop up and
dose those streets according to Registered Pian 12, for the said Township of Hay,
more particularly described, according to the attached marked as
Schedule A — Pt of Dansereau Ave.
Schedule B — Pt of Archambault St.
Schedule C — Pt of BissonnetteAve.
Schedule D — Pt of Picotte St.
Schedule E — Pt of Picotte St.
Schedule F — Pt of Swarts St.
Schedule G -- Pt of Georgianna St.
Schedule H — Joseph Street
Schedule I — Pt of Bissonnette Ave.
Schedule J — Pt of Bissonnette Ave.
And Further to convey the same to the abutting land owners, being the Estate of
Valerie Cantin.
Now Therefore, the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of Hay
enacts as follows:
1) That the portion of streets in the said Township of Hay, more par-
ticularly described as per the .attached schedules, be and the same is
hereby stopped up and closed as a road allowance.
Read a first and second time this 31st day of October 1977.
Read a third time and passed this 31st day of October 1977.
NOTE: The schedules mentioned in the above by-law are on file at the
Hay Township Municipal Office and may be inspected during
regular office hours.
