MR. AND MRS. DOUG WEBBER
Patsy Lynn jā¢leeb and Douglas Leroy Webber were united in marriage
October 15 at Zurich United Church by Rev. Bruce Guy. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Neeb, R.R. 1, Zurich and Mr, and Mrs.
Lee Webber, R.R. 1, Hensall are parents of the groom. The maid of
honour was Linda Neeb and bridesmaids were Mrs. Bonnie Schenk,
Susan Schenk and Pat Seiling. The best man was Jack Mayer and
guests were ushered by Dale Skinner, Morley Thompson and Bob
Stone. Kathy Schenk was flower girl. Soloists were Colleen Maguire
and Barb Hodgins and Jean Hodgert was organist. After a honeymoon
to Western Canada, the couple has taken up residence in Exeter.

The Zurich Recreational
Hockey League rolls into another
year of action with the same four
teams contesting the league title.
Action gets underway tonight
at seven, with the Blues -taking on
the Flyers and the Panthers and
Sabres doing battle.

TEACHERS HOLD WORKSHOPS
Friday, October 28 was a
Professional Development Day
for the 370 Elementary Teachers
of Huron County.
The events for the day were
planned by the Ontario Public
School Teachers of Ontario and
the Federation of Women
Teachers of Ontario. The events
included workshops which were
chosen so that teachers, by
means of a visit, could make
plans for future field trips and
also become more knowledgeable
UCW CHOOS
The November meeting of the
Zurich UCW was held with Mrs.
Ward Neeb, Mrs, Elwood
Truemner and Mrs. Eleanor
Brown in charge.
Members were reminded of the
bazaar and bake sale at the
Bluewater Rest Home on
November 19.
about the county.
The visits included trips to the
Board of Education Offices in
Clinton, the Bluewater Centre,
the Family and Children's Ser-
viceoffices, the Pollution
Control Centre in Goderich,
Champion Road Machinery
Company, Huron County Pioneer
Museum, the Huron Historic Jail,
Huron County Council, CKNX in
Wingham, the Goderich Signal -
Star and the Vanastra Recreation
Centre.
