THE MANY FACES OF YOGURT
Yogurt Is growing In popularity amohg the dairy products. It is prepared from
whole or partially skimmed or skim milk, providing good flavour and nutrition.
The two types are the "regular" and the "Swiss•style". Home-made yogurt
falls into the "Swiss -style" category.
Yogurt may be plain or flavoured and, depending on the variety, may provide

• days for the "regular" type and about 2 weeks for the "Swiss -style". However,
check the label for the recommended "beat before" date. Yogurt can be eaten
as la for a snack or deeaertl it may bo blended with fruit Juices, substituted for
sour cream or buttermilk in baked products, added to salads, used as a dip for
chips or vegetables, and mixed with cottage cheese, jams and Jellies.
