Many enjoy nature hikes
The beautiful Indian Summer
which we are still enjoying
makes it possible for residents to
sit out on the patio and take short
walks and enjoy Nature and all
the beauty of autumn by which
we are surrounded.
We welcome Mr. Eldon Ort-
wein back from the hospital in
much improved health.
Films were enjoyed on Monday
evening followed by refresh-
ments. Now that we are back on
standard time and the evenings
are long, it would be a good time
to visit with your families and
friends here and perhaps enjoy
some of the evening activities.
Doctor Zhivago starring Julie
Christie will b% the movie for
Thursday afternoon and evening
at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the
Maplewoods recreation room. A
welcome is extended to anyone
who would enjoy seeing .this
show.
Some of our residents enjoyed
the movie shown at Maplewoods
last Thursday afternoon.
We appreciate the materials
brought in for use in the hobby
shop, also the fruits and
vegetables donated to the kit-
chen. One of these days a large 8
1/2 lb. salmon caught in the
Bayfield River and donated by
Mr. John Corbett will be sizzling
in the pan and served to the
residents who, I am sure, will
enjoy it.
