President, Ron Merner presided and Pastor Meliecke ..opened ,,the meeting with a short meditation. The nominating committee, Reinhold Miller, Howard Datars, Leonard Restemayer and Earl Keller was in charge of the election of officers as follows: president, Ron Merner; vice- president, Hubert Miller; secretary, Bill Becker; treasurer, Earl Keller; elder, Lloyd Willert; trustee, Ken Rader; General financial secretary, Lloyd Rader; mission treasurer, Elgin Rader; Sunday school superintendent, Don Rader; assistant, John Becker; Stewardship committee, Bill Vandeworp and Charles Mar- tene; Evangelism committee, Aaron Restemayer, Roy Gibson, Delmar Miller and Ernest Miller; Education committee, Howard Datars and Ray Van- dorsselaer; Finance committee, Glen Restemayer, Oscar Miller, Murray Keller and Arnold Becker; nominating committee, Harvey Beierling, Reinhold Miller and Howard Datars; auditors, Orval Wassman and Dave Rader. Several changes in the con- stitution were approved. The Youth of the church are to be in charge of the annual reports. 4-H meeting Dashwood 4-H club 2 held their sixth meeting at the community centre, October 26 with 15 girls present. Following the opening exercises, the girls divided into groups and made banana bread, and pears Helene, Mrs. Earl Keller discussed fruit shortcakes and fruit puddings. After sam- pling the recipes the meeting adjourned. Personals Mrs. Muriel Boyd, Sarnia, spent the weekend with Mr. & Mrs. Delmar Miller and family. Mrs. Walter Biesenthal, Hamilton, and Mr. & Mrs. Lewis Misch, Surrey, B.C. spent last week with Mr. & Mrs. Melvin Stade and Sherrie and visited with Mrs. Martha Miller in South Huron hospital every day. Robert Watson has returned home from University hospital where he underwent surgery. Mrs. Adeline Kraft was guest.of honor Friday evening when several of her nieces and nephews treated her to dinner at Bayview Tavern on the occasion of her approaching 89th birthday, October qt. Well the spooks have come and gone, little ones with a parent in the background, big ones, All were very orderly and pleasant. Of all who called only- three carried UNICEF boxes which was most surprising. The Lutheran Womens Missionary League held their meeting Wednesday. Pastor Meliecke took the topic. "How the L.W.M.L. can contribute to church growth," The fall rally will be held at Tavistock November 14.
