At the churches
The service at Hensall United
Church on Sunday, was con-
ducted by Rev. Don Beck who
took as his theme, "There's
something missing". Speaking
about church members he spoke
on conversion as a change in the
inner spirit. That change is
missing in religion today. The
choir, under the leadership of
Mrs. John Turkheim.,' sang the
anthem, "The Master hath called
us". Next Sunday, the service
will be on standard time at 11 am.
Rev.''oung,Goderich conducted
service in Carmel Presbyterian
Church Sunday. There will be no
service next Sunday October 30
owing to anniversary service in
Caven ,Presbyterian Church,
Exeter when Rev. John Boyne
will be the guest minister. Sun-
day, November 6 Rev. D.A.
Codling, Toronto will be
preaching for a call at Carmel
Church at the hour of 10 am.

& Mrs. Grant McGregor and
Steven, son of Mr. & Mrs. Jim
McGregor .collided head on on
their motor bikes. Although it
was dusk, neither boy had his
lights on at the time and they did
not see each other until it was too
late. Steve received severe
lacerations to his face, a broken
arm and broken femur. Robert
also had head injuries and a
broken arm. It was estimated
that it was about half -an -hour
• before the boys were found and
taken to Exeter Hospital from
where they were transferred to
University Hospital, London.
Latest word is that both boys
are progressing. Robert is doing
well and is up in a wheelchair;
Steve is improving steadily
although still in serious condition.
