visited for a few days with Mrs.
Woodruff in St. Davids,
Mr. & Mrs. Raymond Scot-
chmer spent last week at the
Ploughing Match in Kingston and
on Friday they were joined by
their children, Trevor and
Rayanne and his parents, Mr, &
Mrs. Jack Scotchmer.
Mr. & Mrs. Howard Riddell,
Dundalk spent Sunday with Mr. &
Mrs, Don Haw, Brad, Cathy and
Anne. The Haw family were the
guests of his Mother, Mrs. Nina
Haw for Thanksgiving.
Mrs. Evelyn McQuiggan of
London and Mr. & Mrs. Ray St.
Pierie of Windsor visited for the
holiday weekend with their father
Mr. Bernie Fansher and with
their brother and sister-in-law,
Mr. & Mrs. Fred Fansher,
Tracey and Joey.
Mr. & Mrs. Roy Fitzsimons and
Kelso attended Open House on
Saturday at the home of Mr. &
Mrs. Douglas Weeks in
Palmerston, to honour their son
Gordon and his bride Irene who
were married in London in
September. They both attend
Queens University in Kingston,
Karen `Fitzsimons and Carl
Humphries returned to London
Monday evening after spending
Thanksgiving weekend at their
homes here. They also attended
the Open House for Gordon and
Irene,
Mrs. Helen LeBeau visited for
the past week with her daughter
and grandchildren, Mrs. Vicki
McLaughlin, Meagan, Alfie and
Courtney in Toronto.
Mrs. Stan Bryant spent a few
days recently in Komoka.
Mr. & Mrs. Albert Craig spent
the holiday weekend in Oil City as
the guests of Mr. & Mrs. Ross
McMichael and Jack.
Mrs. Berthena Hammond and
Mrs. Audrey Florian stayed at
the Nurses Residence Stratford
for Wednesday and Thursday
while Mrs. Florian's son Dennis
underwent ear surgery. Dennis is
reported coming along fine.
Cpl. and Mrs. Stan Smith and
Lisa; Mrs. Leanne Veysey and
Chris all of North Bay were
Thanksgiving weekend guests of
Mr. & Mrs, Rheney Larson.
Mrs, Vicki McLaughlin,
Meagan, Alfie and Courtney,
Toronto were with Mrs. and
Fred LeBeau for the holiday
weekend. Joining them for
Thanksgiving dinner on Monday
were Mr. & Mrs. Bob Cluff, Rob
and Tara of London.

and Miss Betty Etue of Ottawa
spent the holiday weekend with

The first meeting of Bayfield
Unit One 4-H club was held on
September 27 in the basement of
St. Andrew's United Church.
Leaders, Mrs. A. Chapman and
Mrs. C. Phoenix explained daily
requirements of fruit and their
different sources. Officers
elected were: president -Diane
Garrett; vice -president -Patti
Greer; press reporter -Patti
Greer.
