"We all should pay our fair taxes," Ginn agreed. "The system we have today is not fair. It is outdated and even if the Blair report is implemented, we will have to look hard at all these things all the time to make sure things have not changed. Posters and brochures giving details ofthe program are being sent to all schools in Canada urging teachers to participate. Under the program students in Ontario classrooms are twinned with their counterparts in other parts of Canada. Through the exchange of class projects, photographs, audio tapes and other materials, the students learn about the geographic, economic and cultural features of other parts of Canada. Education Minister Thomas Wells said the program helps Canadian students to achieve a greater understanding of each other. It also has academic ad- vantages because it enchances social studies, making them come alive, Mr. Wells said. Since the program began in 1972 more than 9,500 Ontario elementary and secondary school classrooms have been twinned with a similar number in other parts of Canada, GM Gila OEM MID BIM NEM Conestoga College Tencennial Weekend /sooA Co,Q Tencennial Celebration Days are here!
