WILLIAM HENRY MILLER Yesterday afternoon a funeral was held for William Henry Miller, who died Friday at the South Huron Hospital in Exeter at the age of 81. He was a former employee of the Department of Highways at Grand Bend. He is survived by his wife Pearl (Lafond); a sister, Mrs. Laura Miller of Dashwood; a niece, Mrs. Lewis Zimmer and a great- niece, Carol Zimmer, both of Dashwood. Relatives and friends were received at the Harry Hoff- man Funeral Home, Dashwood. A requiem mass was said at Zurich's St. Boniface Church yesterday morning by Father J. Bensette. Burial was in St. Boniface Cemetery. DAVID A. JOHNSTON Word was received this past week of the death of a former resident of Stanley Township, David A. Johnston of Pilot Mound, Manitoba. Mr. Johnson lived on the Babylon Line, where he farmed until moving to La Riviere, Manitoba, in 1919, where he continued farming until retiring to Pilot Mound in 1960. He was in his 89th year. He is survived by his wife, the former Annie Stephenson of Parr Line, Stanley, to whom he was married almost 65 years. Also surviving are a daughter, Helen, Mrs. Jack Spearman of Crystal City, Manitoba, and five grand- children.
