Fun, games, parade
Bayfield carnival big bit
Despite the rain which ham-
pered many from constructing
floats and decorating vehicles for
the parade, the Annual Lions
Frolic on Friday, was a success.
This year it was a two-day event
with the parade on Friday
evening, led by the Ipperwash
Cadet Band.
In the agricultural grounds
were rides for the children,
games of chance, turtle races and
the ever popular hot dog stand. A
share -the -wealth bingo was in full
swing inside the arena.
At 11 pm draws were made for
the money prizes offered by the
Lions Club, Lucky winners were
Harold Erb, Bayfield, who
received $200; Glen McNeil,
Goderich; George Willits,
Bayfield; Bob McKee, Zurich;
HEAD CHINESE DELEGATION -The Chinese float entered in
Saturday's Friedsburg Days .parade was headed by Christine
and Jennifer Bartliff and Julia Tiernan.
