Mr. & Mrs. Charles Goodman, Detroit and Mrs. Leslie Adams, Exeter were recent visitors with Mr. & Mrs. Jack Corbett. Constable Gerry Chapman, Mrs. Chapman, Lisa and Leanne of Burlington, Rod Chapman of Barrie spent the holiday weekend with their parents Mr. & Mrs. Lorne Chapman. Mr. & Mrs. Don Avery and Lisa, Deerfield, Florida visited last week with Mrs. Avery's parents Mr. & Mrs. Joe Flynn and brother and sister-in-law Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Flynn and daughters. Rev. George Anderson con- ducted service in St, Paul's Anglican Church Sunday when members of Carmel Presbyterian Church united with them for worship. Rev. Anderson conducted Holy Communion service. Next Sunday the congregation of the Hensel' United Church will also unite with the Anglican church congregation for service at 9:45 a.m. Mrs. Wilmer Ferguson who has been a patient for the past several weeks in St. Joseph's Hospital, London returned to her home last week. Mrs. Gerry McClinchey, Brantford is spending the summer vacation with his parents Mr. & Mrs. Edgar McClinchey. Miss Lisa Avery of Deerfield, Florida is vacationing with her grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Joe Flynn and aunt and uncle Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Flynn and daughters. Mr. & Mrs. John Peebles, London were recent visitors with Mr. & Mrs. James Sangster and' Brad. Howard Smale is a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exeter where he is receiving treatment. William Smale underwent surgery in St. Joseph's Hospital London this week. Gordon Love is receiving treatment in South Huron Hospital, Exeter. Robin McLellan, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Ken McLellan of Kippen, has passed her Grade Two Theory at the Royal Con- servatory of Music with honours. Robin is a pupil of Miss Greta Lam mie, Hensall. At a recent Western Ontario Conservatory music exam held at Mitchell, Laurie Pepper, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Cecil Pepper, passed her grade three with an honours mark of 79. Laurie is a pupil of Mrs. Frank Forrest, Hensall. Sim Roobol returned to his home on Thursday, after having been apatient in St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Miss Marguerite Banbury, London and Mrs. Margaret Smith also of London visited with Mr. & Mrs. Jack Smith over the weekend. A gathering of neighbours was held at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Carl Payne on Thursday evening when Mr. & Mrs. John McAllister were presented with a plaque in honour of their recent wedding. Fourteen guests were present and euchre was enjoyed. Wilmer MacDonald passes Wilmer Charles MacDonald passed away at Peel Memorial' Hospital Brampton June 25 after a lengthy illness, in his 55th year, Surviving is his wife, the former Marjorie Cudmore, daughter of Mr, & Mrs. Edgar Cudmore, Hensall. One son Jack and one daughter Ruth Ann, Brampton, Also surviving is his mother Mrs. Roy MacDonald, Exeter. His father Roy MacDonald predeceased him one month ago. Two sisters Dorothy (Mrs. Ted Prouty) and Jean (Mrs. Stewart Triebner, Exeter) also survive. Funeral service was held from the Lee Archdekin Funeral Home Brampton conducted June 28 by Pastor Ron Stephens and Rev. Robert Norcross of Kennedy Rd. Pentecostal Church, Brampton. Mr. William Seers sang "Each Step I Take" and "I Am So Glad I Belong To The Family Of God". Interment in Brampton Cemetery. Taylor reunion The Taylor reunion was held at the home of John and Mary Lou Driscoll, Walton, Sunday. Games and sports were enjoyed by all. Anne Preston, Sundridge was the youngest baby attending. During the supper hour Morris and Connie Taylor and four daughters were presented with a going away gift. Bill Taylor read a very humorous address to which Morris and Connie both replied with thanks. On June 30 the family moved to RR 2, Kilworthy near Gravenhurst where they purchased the "Three Coins -Motel", All their family wish. them the best of luck UNITED CHURCH The service at the Hensall United Church on Sunday was conducted by Rev. Don Beck with Mrs. John Turkheim at the organ. The choir, as an anthem, sang the Centennial Hymn and Rev. Beck preached on the subject, "Fear Not". A bouquet of flowers decorating the church was from the wedding of Melanie Veal and Barry Miller.
