Mrs. Flory Oddleifson and Mrs.
Kathleen Siertsema par-
ticipated in the Century Fashion
Show for the Blyth Centre of the
Arts (Threatre) in Blyth.
Kathleen modeled Mrs.
Oddleifson's Mothers wedding
dress (1900) and Mrs. Oddleifson
modeled a dress from the
"Flapper Era", also belonging to
her mother.
Mrs. Fred Anderson Jr. of RR 5
Clinton called to tell us that she
had found a pair of womens
bifocal reading glasses, light
brown plastic shell rimmed on
Wednesday evening May 25 at the
South Pier near the beach in
Bayfield. If you have lost your
glasses perhaps these are yours.

Mrs. Don Lance entertained
her sister Mrs. Betty Miller and
Mrs. Eleanor Becker and Mrs.
Louise Smith of Royal Oak,
Michigan for the weekend.

Anson McKinley accompanied
by his wife Evelyn and daughter
Mary Lou, was mainstreeting in
Bayfield, Friday last in a bid for
election as an MPP for Huron -
Middlesex in the Progressive
Conservative Party.

Good for Zurich
While out driving on Sunday
afternoon, we drove through
Zurich and commented on the
lovely clean streets and newly
planted trees and the red brick
decor. Congratulations to the
Town of Zurich or those
responsible, it certainly bears
mentioning.
Trinty A.C.W.
Trinity Church A.C.W. met for
their regular meeting on Thur-
sday May 26 in the Parish Hall
with 14 members present. The
meeting was chaired by Mrs. Pat
Van Patter vice-president, owing
to the absence of the president
Mrs. Edith Smith. The Scripture
reading, Psalm 96 was read by
Mrs. Muriel Althoff.
Mrs. Margaret Clift, convener
of the A.C.W. bake sale gave a
detailed report and plans for the
Bake sale to be held Saturday
July 16 in the morning in the
Parish Hall.
Mrs. Lillian Higgins read a
portion of a book by Henry
Drummond, expressing the
meaning of love.
Hostesses Mrs. Olive Rivers
and Mrs. Evelene Earl served a
tasty lunch. This was the final
meeting until they meet again in
September.
Huron Centennial
The Kindergarten children
from Huron Centennial School
visited the Seaforth Community
Hospital last Wednesday.
