Separate School cross-country races
Over 290 students from 14
separate schools in Huron and
Perth Counties participated in
cross country races held at the
Francis Bicknell farm in
McKillop. Township last week.'
The students covered a cir-
cuitous route of 1.2 miles.
In the senior boys' division the
three first ,place winners were:
Bob Menheere of St. James
School, Seaforth; Chris Pitre, St.
Mary's, Goderich; Norman
Regier, Mount Carmel.
In the junior boys' division:
Mike DeWetering, Kinkora;
John Van Esbroeck, Precious
Blood, Exeter and Bob Hooben,
Kinkora.
Senior girls: Teresa Kovacs,
St.. Mary's School, Goderich;
Rose Padacz, St, Michael's,
Stratford and Alice Dietrich,
Mount Carmel.
Top junior girls were: Alanna
VandeWiel, St. Joseph's, Strat-
ford; Sheilah Stock, St. Joseph's,
Stratford and Juliet Kumprey,
Sacred Heart, Wingham.
Primary grade winners were:
