° Silver Wedding Anniversary.
Baptism
Three babies received the
Sacrament of Baptism in Varna
United Church on Sunday. There
were Raymond. Wayne, son of
Mr. and Mrs. WayneBeierling,
David Thomas, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Don Rathwell, and Mark
Robert, son of , Mr. and Mrs.
Mack Webster. In Goshen
Church, Mr. and Mrs, Terry
McBride's daughter, Cindy
Clarice, was baptized. Rev.
Taylor, in his sermon, stressed
the importance of parents taking
their children by the hand and
bringing them to church, if they
wish them to embrace their
religion when they grow up. If
they merely send the children by
themselves, it is unlikely they
will become active church
members, as they will usually
follow the example of their
parents.
