Wednesday visitors with Mrs.
Irvin Rader.
Donna Regier was a weekend
visitor with Andrea Zimmer.
Tracey Case, Crediton, spent
the weekend with Heather Rader,
Mr. & Mrs. Irvin Rader spent
Sunday with Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd
Rader, In the evening they all
visited at Zurich with Mr. & Mrs.
Leonard Prang. Leonard has just
returned home from St. Joseph's
hospital, London, following a
knee operation.
Oluf Pedersen, Fred Weiberg
and Mrs. Frieda Keller are
patients in South Huron Hospital,
Exeter.
Mrs. Vernon Schatz has
returned home following three
months in South Huron and
University hospitals.
Mr. & Mrs. Adolph Keller were
pleasantly surprised on the oc-
casion of their 54th wedding
anniversary, Sunday, May 1,
when members of their family
called to help them celebrate.
Present for the occasion were
Mr. & Mrs. Earl Telfer, Brant-
ford; Susan Telfer and Mr. &
Mrs. Fred Sanders, Susan and
Tommy, London; Mr. & Mrs.
Lloyd Keller and family, Huron
Park; Mr. & Mrs. Milton Keller,
Dennis and Darryl, Exeter; Mr.
& Mrs. Bill Baker, Bill Jr. and
friend, Grand Bend; and Mr. &
Mrs. Dan Schilbe. West Lorne.
Mrs. Siegfried Miller, Port
Dover, was a visitor last week
with Mrs. Martha Miller.
Master Jordon Guy, Denfield,
spent a few days last week with
his grandparents, Pastor and
Mrs, Bruce Guy.
Mrs. Cora Gaiser returned
home Sunday after spending two
weeks with Rev. & Mrs. Bruce
Seebach and family, Kitchener.
Mr. & Mrs. Eric Eagleson and
family, Little Current,

The annual Spring Rally of the
Women's Missionary Fellowship
was held in Bayfield Baptist
. Church, Tuesday evening. The
meeting opened with the
president, Muriel Snider's
welcome on behalf of the Church,
to all the women attending from
Goderich, Seaforth and Exeter
churches. The scripture was read
by Phyllis Nicholson followed
with prayer by Diana Harrison.
Cathi Cullan favoured with two
beautiful and appropriate solos;
"The Holy City" and "Fill my
Cup and Make Me Whole." Music
throughout the evening was
supplied by Shirley Keys at the
piano and Cathi Cullan the organ.
The guest speaker, Mrs. Mina
Talbot was introduced by Janet
Talbot. Mrs. Talbot showed
beautiful slides and gave a
resume of her trip to the Holy
Land. She told of the Dead Sea
days with Mr. & Mrs. Ralph
Weber.
Mr. & Mrs. Eric Wolfe and
family, London, spent Sunday
with Mr. & Mrs. Stuart Wolfe.
Mrs, Henry Eagleson also spent a
few days with them.
L.W.M.L. meeting
The quarterly Lutheran
Women's Missionary League
meeting of Zion Lutheran church
was held April 27.
Mrs. Delmar Miller took the
topic, "You're just the right
age". It was pointed out that no
matter what age you are there is
a place in the church for you.
Plans were made for hosting
the zone Rally May 9. Dominion
store slips and used stamps are
still needed. The LWML mem-
bers will now be looking after
these.
Youth meeting
The Youth of Dashwood held
their meeting Sunday May 1 with
the Alethia singers from Exeter
as special guests. An evening of
singing and of sharing ex-
periences was very successful. A
few adults turned out to share the
evening.

Huron Bd. of Ed. approves trips
Twelve field trips were ap-
proved by the board in other
business, with majority of the
trips being overnight camping
excursions and nature trips.
However longer trips are also
scheduled by Usborne Central
School, who will be sending 34
grade eight students to Montreal
and Quebec for three days. South
Huron District High School is
planning a similar French trip
with grades 11 and 12 students.
The board approved two trips
to Toronto from Hullett Central
Public School for grade eight
students and from Grey Central.
Superintendant John Coulter
gave a report to the board
recommending that schools
make arrangements with the
Maitland Valley Conservation
Authority for nature and outdoor
education lessons.
For the last number of years
elementary schools in the
southern part of the county have
been attending nature classes at
Camp Sylvan through the co-
operation of the Ausable-Bayfield
Conservation Authority. This
year the MVCA has hired an
information and educational
technician.
Other school boards have
acquired property for outdoor
education use, and the MVCA has
arranged for the use of Camp
Wyoka, a Girl -Guides camp in
Clifford during the week of May
16-20.
Classes from Brookside,
Colborne and Hawick have made
arrangements for field trips here
at the cost of $8 per student. The .
trips are one -and -a -half day
excursions.
