Golden
Glimpses , .
Looking back over the past
week we want to say "Thank
You" to all our visitors. Its nice
for you to be bringing in some of
the current happenings from
surrounding areas and of course
reminiscing is often enjoyed by
residents as well. A good hearty
laugh around the cornor or
somewhere nearby is like
medicine for the spirit. It just
makes the day.
The week has been a rather
quiet one with films on Monday
evening and the usual bingo on
Friday which seems to be en-
joyed so much.
As announced in the previous
column "The Other Side of the
Mountain" will be shown at the
Maplewoods Apts, on Thursday
at 2:00 p.m. and also in the
evening at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is
invited to come as this sounds
like a good show and also will be
the last in our series of movies for
the season.
"No fooling" April is here. It
certainly is nice to see that grass
is starting to turn green. Even the
end of March treated us so good
that some of the area farmers
could be ploughing in the fields.
With Easter so near, possibly
your school or Church group has
been working on some special
Easter program or music. If you
could spare some time for an
extra presentation I am sure the
residents here would certainly
enjoy it.
The Sunday evening Chapel
service was conducted by Rev_
George Anderson of Trivitt
Memorial Anglican Church,
Exeter. Organist was Mr. G.
McCauley.

When the road runs tet!
You're off the road, somewhere in the middle of . , . nowhere.
Maybe fifty miles from the nearest road. It's nice to know you're
riding a Suzuki—the reliable one that gets you where you're
going and then to where you want to be. The bike is the Suzuki
TS—the scrappy little on -off-road bikes with big bike features.
We've got them all the way from the TS -75, -100 and -125 up to
the TS -185, -250 and sensational TS -400. Terrific engineering
and reliability from Suzuki. For the bikes, the service, parts and
accessories, come to where the winners are.
