IT TAKES A LOT OF FISH CRATES — Right now employees of Arc Industries in Dashwood are busy putting
together fish shipping crates ordered by fishermen in Grand Bend and Bayfield. Above, Ken Carter, left of
Grand Bend and Cam Deline of Exeter assemble the crates in the wood -working department.

Zuric hosts Faith and Life Crusade
The annual Faith and Life
Crusade is in the ninth year for
this area. A completely in-
terdenominational event, it is
held in the Zurich Community
Centre each year and is to aid and
help believers and people in
general to live a fuller Christian
life and experience the freedom
and joy each person in this world
is searching for.
The Crusade started in 1969
with Rev. C.H. Gautche, Men-
nonite pastor from Ohio. In 1970
Rev. John Shrier, a powerful
penticostal pastor from Waterloo
was the man who presented the
answers out ofGod'sWord. In 1971
Rev. Ralph Bell, Billy Graham
evangelist from St. Catharines
was God's man for us. Rev.
Wesley Oke, United Pastor from
Bowmanville was with us in1972. In
1973 a Chatham United Pastor
under the heading Compassion
Canada gave us food from the
Word, Rev. James Somerville.
In 1974 Rev. Dave Ward, an
Anglican minister was God's
man for the year. In 1975 we were
called to decipleship and freedom
in Christ by Rev. John Smrecher,
Mennonite pastor from New
York.
In 1976 Fred Augsburger,
Mennonite pastor from Ohio led
us to Celebration 76.
This year God's humble ser-
vant will be Rev. Bernie Smith
from Calgary Alberta, pastor of
Brentview Baptist church who
will lead us in Rejoice 77.
Rev. Smith was born in Warren
Ohio, January 1932 and was born
the second time in 1954 at a
Christian Training Camp in
Northern Ontario. A graduate of
Kent State University in 1958,
Rev. Smith worked on the staff of
the Inter -Varsity Christian
fellowship for two years and
taught elementary school in
Windsor for five years.
Rev. Smith went west in 1973 to
work on the staff of the Baptist
Leadership training school . as
musical director, phys ed,
director and Director of Com-
munications Arts. He resigned
his position in the spring of 1975
and returned to freelancing.
He functioned as an interim
pastor for Brentview Baptist
church for several months and in
March 1977 he returned to
freelancing.
He and his wife Margret have
three children, Jonathan 11, Ruth
Anne 10 and Mark 8. Rev. Smith
was Master of Ceremonies for
Jesus 76 in Brantford and is
appearing at Jesus 77 in Penn-
