They were married at the Presbyterian Manse, Hensall and took up residence on the groom's 1 Ielr call Hilda Paynoe ]Bertha McGregor farm on the 2nd concession of Hay township. They have three children: a son Elmore in Toronto; Audrey, Mrs. Glenn Koehler of Hensall; Margaret, Mrs. Ray Consitt of Kippen; and nine grandchildren. A large number of relatives and friends called to wish them greetings. Serving were Mrs. Koehler, Mrs. Consitt, Mrs. Emore Campbell, Mrs. Charles Hay and Mrs. Wm. Rogerson. Their granddaughters Beth Consitt and Elizabeth Campbell were in charge of the register. A family dinner was enjoyed at the Zurich Hotel in the evening. Mrs. Campbell's father Mr. Hugh Love formerly of Hensall attended the an- niversary. Kinsmen entertain seniors . The Hensall Kinsmen Club entertained the Seniors at a "Senior Citizens' Night" on Tuesday at the Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich. Entertainment was provided by Mr. 'Nelson Howe and a social time enjoyed by all. Lodge distributes boxes The C.P.T. Keith and Doris Leonard of Willowdale visited Clara Featherston. Shirley Prouty of Exeter visited several residents. Joan Betteridge and Violet Bishop visited Irene Kalb- fleisch. Jessi and George Ingle, Brussels visited with Cora Alcock and Tena Hully. Mr. & Mrs. Richard Long visited the latter's mother Mrs. Lou Weurth. Clara and Perc Johnston, Alvin Steckle, Joe Martin, Bill, Helen and Mark Taylor visited Russell Erratt. Rev. Mills conducted the church service with Mrs. Louise Mitchell ac- companying at the piano. On Monday, December 11 the Zurich Mennonite Church Ladies entertained residents. Pat Oesch celebrated his birthday on December 13. Miss Agnes Cutting will celebrate her birthday on December 26. Rev. Kenneth Knight conducts service The service in Carmel Presbyterian Church was conducted by Rev. Kenneth Knight on Sunday, the subject of his sermon was "Our King Is Here". Miss Sandra Wadel favoured with two accordion solos "0 Holy Night" and "Angels We Have Heard On High". Mrs. Robert Taylor presided at the organ and accompanied the choir in the Anthem "All Poor Men and Humble" Mrs, Malcolm Dougall and Mrs. Edith Bell sang the duet. The poinsettia on the Communion table was a gift from the Queensway Nur- sing Home, There will be Christmas music next Sunday. Personals Mr. & Mrs. Elmore Campbell and family of Toronto were weekend visitors with the former's parents Mr. & Mrs. Perc Campbell who celebrated their 50th wedding an- niversary. Miss Dale Simmons of Toronto is spending the holidays with her parents Mr. & Mrs. Jack Simmons. Mrs. Rosa Harris who has been visiting with her son-in- law and daughter Mr. & Mrs. William Noakes left this week for Vancouver, B.C. Mrs. Harry Horton returned from Exeter and Unversity Hospital last after receiving treatment for several weeks. Make appointments to county council The 45 -member Huron County council Wednesday approved the make-up of its 10 standing committees, where much of the county's business will be hashed out in depth. The newly acclaimed warden, Hay Township Reeve John Tinney, serves as the ex -officio member on each committee.
