ST THOMAS STUDENTS VISIT ST. JOSEPH — One of the best ways to learn about the history of an area is to visit the place
which is being studied. Looking over one of the many reports which Napoleon Cantin has on St. Joseph at his personal museum
are Central Collegiate students Martha Farley, Eaton Kempster, Mr. Cantin and teacher Gerard Charrette. Charrette formerly
of the Bluewater area, teaches the grade nine students history and geography in French. Staff photo

crisp but sunny and it is
possible to get around
without snow boots 'but I
believe some of our not too
distant neighbours are not
quite so fortunate.

refreshments.

Ontario weather forecast:
drifting snow, icy patches d reduce viii ility
ming the Holiday Season.
That's why you must be in good condition to drive
under these conditions.
Winter driving. For drivers this is
the most dangerous season. Con-
ditions change without warning.
The dry road you're on now can
quickly become treacherous at the
next bend in the road .
ice patches, frost, sudden snow
squalls, even wet leaves create,
unexpected' hazards. But during
the Holiday Season these hazards
tend to increase. -
Poor visibility combined with
heavy traffic throughout the
Holiday Season means you must
be in good condition to drive
under these conditions. So must
your car. So keep it in good repair.
And keep yourself alert at all
times. If you drink, don't drive.
And always watch out for the
other drivers. Assume there's •
trouble ahead even when condi-
tions look safe. Help make sure
you and your family will be here to
enjoy another great Ontario
Holiday Season.
