Dashwood youths meet

The Youth of Zion
Lutheran Church held their
meeting Sunday with Doris
Stephen opening the
meeting. They decided to go
carolling December 23. A
circuit get-together is
planned for later. Bible
study and discussion were
held and recreation was
enjoyed by all.
Hold social
Policy holders of the
Lutheran Life Insurance
held a social evening Friday
evening at Zion Lutheran
Church basement for
members and their families,

Christmas dinner Friday

London, spent the week end
with Mr. and Mrs. Irvin
Rader.
Daniel Mellecke is at-
tending college at Ann Arbor
for the winter term.
Sunday visitors with Mr.
and Mrs. Percy Willert,
Zurich, were Mrs. Elva
Willert. Mr. and Mrs. Adolph
Keller, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron
Reslemayer and Mr. and
Mrs. Lloyd Rader.
Sherwoods win
The Hensall Sherwoods in
their only start of the week
defeated Thedford 10-7
Thursday.
Scoring two goals apiece
for the Sherwoods were Al
Taylor and Steve Knight.
It was a close game right
from the start with Thedford
leading 3-2 at the end of the
first, while by the end of the
second period the game was
knotted at five all.
Scoring the other goals for
Hensall were Brian Camp-
bell, Jim Ferguson, Rick
Ingram, Lloyd Allan, Larry
Bourne and Dan Crerar.
