Couple celebrate 59th anniversary

celebrated their 59th wed-
ding anniversary with a

dinner at their home. Guests
were Mr. & Mrs. Clarence
Gascho, Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth
Gascho and son John, also
Amos and Miss Laura

Farewell party held
A clock radio was
presented to Mr. & Mrs.
George Bedard last Satur-
day night at a farewell party
given to them by neighbours,
friends and relatives,
George and Oliva have since
moved to Goderich. Their
farm has been purchased by
Mr. & Mrs. John Paul Rau.
Successful season
Members of the Patz's ball
team treated their wives to a
beef -barbecue on Sunday to
mark the end of the season.
It was held at Larry
McCanns.

of Zurich, have announced the forthcoming marriage of their
daughter, Margaret Lorriane of Brampton, to Donald Stirling,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Stirling of Ridgetown. The wedding
ceremony will take place October 28 at 3 p.m., in St. Paul's
United Church with a reception to follow at The Woodland's
Golf and Country Club, Brampton.

patient in South Huron
Hospital, Exeter.
Mary Ann and Jim Vanos
and baby Saralyn of Toronto
spent the week end with the
latter's parents, Mr. & Mrs.
Clarence Geoffrey and
Kevin.
Miss Maria Kenda of,
Australia is visiting for two
weeks with her brother and
family Mr. & Mrs. Joe
Kenda.
Mr. & Mrs. Keith Westlake
are happy to have a new
granddaughter. She was
born on September 27th to
Alma and Robert Westlake.
Mr. & Mrs. Floren Toman
of Kitchener were week end
guest at the home of Mr. &
Mrs. Charles Thiel. They
also attended the Rader -De
Vries wedding on Saturday.

attended the annual dinner -
meeting for the March of
Dimes in Kitchener on
Tuesday. The speaker was
Miss Elaine Townshend of
Clinton.

their daughter and son-in-
