We are just beginning to line up fall and winter programmes so if you have a group who would care to spend an hour some evening to entertain the residents, please call the office and we will be pleased to arrange a time suitable to both par- ties. Interest is picking up in the hobby shop now that the weather is cooler. We are interested in receiving narrow ribbon or coloured seam binding also white plastic shopping bags. CIean worn nylons or panty hose are always in demand. Staff photo Moderator to be at church tent ' Moderator Dr. George Tuttle will spend a good por- tion of 'the International Plowing Match's opening day at the United Church tent, according to Huron - Perth Presbytery officials. It is expected the church leader will officially open the facility at 11 a.m. Talking to people, as he will be doing, is in keeping with Dr. Tuttle's style. Since the principle of St. Stephen's College in Edmonton was elected moderator this past August he has shown that though he may not grab many headlines he can talk common sense for ordinary people. More than thirty years of working with students and young people taught him to be practical and to avoid complicated theology. Dr. Tuttle has expressed a desire to become familiar with the international event, to be held in Wingham, and its people.
